Chase the Cheddar has cute cartoon graphics and a nice pay structure with a medium variance.

That's a decent range of features - but nothing too complicated. That makes Chase the Cheddar a great slot for new players and those who don't want a million features. But with the jackpot, and the modern 1024 ways to win system, even experienced players will find something to enjoy here.
Be warned though - the music is not great at all. Sorry to Arrows Edge, but this one went straight on mute! It is cool that you can mute the music but the keep the sound effects on though, as with most modern slots.
Outside of the music though, Chase the Cheddar slot looks (sounds?) a lot better.
As well as a cat Wild symbol, there's also random value Cheese symbols. These go between 10x and 300x - so if you hit three or more 300x on one reel you could be in for a big payout!
Then there's also the progressive jackpot which is randomly triggered at any time. It starts at $1000 and went as high as $2.5k during our review playtest.
Bonus
To get into the Chase the Cheddar bonus round you have to stack Mouse scatter symbols. Each time you collect one or more in a winning line it adds them to the counter on the side of the reels. Collect 3 of them so start 3 free spins, 10 to start 10 free spins and 15 for 15.
You might think this is a sure-fire way to hit the free spins quickly - but they don't appear too often! However, they have an increased chance of reappearing once the bonus round starts. So, if you get 3 that could easily turn into 10 or more!
The Cheese symbols also get show up as higher values more often during the bonus round too. So, the maximum win potential of 1500x is even closer.
Verdict
A solid effort from Arrow's Edge on Chase the Cheddar slot. The graphics are up to the standard of modern titles, and there's loads of features to see without being overwhelming in the way some new slots are.
The random value symbols and the stacking free spins bonus structure are cool concepts you don't see from every developer either. However, the fact that a lot of value is locked in the bonus round and the dodgy music let it down a bit. Still Chase the Cheddar is a top game with a lot to offer!
